telf
as some of you may know via a topic in the wanted section i am/was after a walnut stock for my quad varmint. when i bought the gun i got it with a synthetic stock,i phoned GMK up to get a price, which was an excessive to say the least £580,i then asked the price of a synthetic stock which was £140 i paid £625 for the gun, which if you take the price of the synthetic stock off leaves £485 for the barrel, action etc,the price for a new walnut stocked version of the same gun up here is £795,so if you take the £485 off for the barrel, action etc, leaves £310 for the stock, not the £580 they are asking for them,or the other way of looking at it is,if the price of the stock is £580,and the price of the gun is £795,then they are charging £215 for the barrel, action etc in a walnut stocked version against the £485 in the synthetic version ?,doesnt quite add up to me,just to confuse things further,a walnut stock with action is £610,£580 for the stock, which makes the action worth £30,totally confused i phoned GMK and spoke to the brand director, who agreed with me,but said that was the prices from sako, and basically that was that, anyway rant over and i have now sorced a used/next to new stock Edited November 29, 2014 by telf
Paddy Galore!
I don't think it's sako's fault, sounds more like GMK magic to me
