red_stag88
Why dont you go for a 12 bore? I belive they will convert an s/a into a silenced s/a.
NGhost
I've got the 12, and you realy need to use subsonic ammo. I think most 410 hushpowers are 2 1/2" so wont take a 3", some are so you will have to check. They are full choke and puting the over longshot column 3" 410 through it will produce horible paterns. The balance is all wrong and very barel heavy. I would stick to less chalenging targets like squirrels and rabbits. They are great fun and somtimes useful. Not not what I would call a good gun. The single shot is a real drawback in the hide. But if you have to keep the noise down, It maybe your only option. The 3" shells are still noisey. go for a 12g and get subsonic shells 7 1/2 shot is all you will probably get localy unles you travel to the Hushpower shop. baikiel boy
Hi Denihow, I sometimes use Hushpower .410& 12 g .Early morning first visiters seem to keep coming,(no noise?).3inch -30yds dont forgetl less shot, longer distance, bigger spaces in shot pattern . Try a couple of shots at 25yrds -30yrds .It'll give you some idea .Use something like a cardboard box approx 2ft x2ft. Best results for me AUG - SEPT time. denihow
25-30 yards,i would be happy enough with that,i couldnt get out with it today, took rifle,it has afew boxes of carts with it,they No4,there quite big,big enough?I shot 5 pigoens today, but not at ranges for the hushpower,it pains me at closer ranges with the rifle,i hit the pigoen, but it flys off,so i have stopped shooting them in the body, the hushpower should solve that problem though.
