Charlie_79
I was out today, looked promising with 200 + birds feeding, set up rope bangers around the farm to keep them moving, had 1 hours good shooting then they all decided to move on
lakeside1000
Well, what a ****** , after spending a week on anti biotic's to get rid of a chest infection, got up this morning ready to go, it was white over with frost and a mist hanging right down to the tree tops, all the birds were just sitting in the trees and not moving, waited for a few hours hoping it would clear, finally it did just in time for the heavens to open and it poured down for over an hour, by the time it finished everywhere was waterlogged, mud up to your armpits, so had to admit defeat, maybe tomorrow, who knows. Don't worry the bird's will still be about in the new year when it's cold, the mud will be frozen, the sky clear, and the pigeon's hungry.
