activeviii
Photo of your spotter please Colin. The rest is easy On the battery you can use either male of female as they come from the place. Plug 1c to 5b for power. Screen will not power up till there's and input. 1b goes to the spotter but until I see the connection on spotter I can't say whether 3 will be needed 2 if you put the female pluc on it like you have on the battery the you can use as an exsention If you was closer then you would be more than welcome to poop in and we can rig it for you Edited December 27, 2014 by activeviii

colin lad
thanks Phil just had a play in kitchen and it works a treat will now make a bracket to connect to 2 screw holes in bottom where tripod would go that ai can all bolt to also a t20 with ir to give it some more legs will post how it goes thanks again that man, that's one free deer butchery demo i owe you lol colin
activeviii
I was going to say to add a t20. Maybe a weaver rail onto the bottom for the torch and screen. You could even power the t20 from the 12v. But need either machining down or a little transformer 12 to 4v
colin lad
just ordered weaver rail of evil bay for t20 must say the image is very clear can't wait to try it now may have to put a small handle on bottom so it can be help bit like a pistol grip, will have to put screen on top though as when mounted under it the picture is upside down colin
activeviii
They do a pistol grip with the right thread for camera

colin lad
well went for a short drive just to try it all out and it performed very well my only issue would be rabbits at over 100 yards you could see fine but id was not too easy as screen is a bit grainy. fox size targets at 200 would be do able but would need to be closer for positive id, shall stick with for now as it's just a spotter and the nv on gun is clearer for id before shot, would a better quality screen give a better picture ?? colin
HDAV
better quality cable between the 2 may well help grain is more likely the camera. assume its all NTSC 480 line video being used

HDAV
Manual please This one? http://www.bresser.de/en/products/night-vision-devices/product.html?tx_meadeproducts_pi1%5Bcmd%5D=pdis&tx_meadeproducts_pi1%5Bartid%5D=1877300&tx_meadeproducts_pi1%5Bview%5D=desc&cHash=7ace4b642a1fdc1da48edf289153deba Edited January 1, 2015 by HDAV
colin lad
resolution of power of camera 500x582 type of sensor icx-405al (sony) any of that make sense all double dutch to me colin
HDAV
500x582 is the sensor res, this is none standard the screen is likely 720x480/576 at some point something is going to convert between the 2,assuming the output of the composite feed is standard then not a lot you can do but limiting the number of scaling operation (particularly by cheap chips will help reduce the grain)
colin lad
thanks it is very usable as a spotter i was just thinking of ways to improve on it another pw member has said to try better ir so that will be next to try only used a standard 501b ir will pop the t20 on next and give that a blast at weekend colin
activeviii
501 is OK for short range Colin. Dave did a good job on them but you need to throw tighter beam down range. Try you t20 and see if it helps.
