MARK 1
an old mate of mine came up with an absolutly brilliant tool for tw*****g the old mole's, basically you need to get yourself a delving spade, break the end of it off the shaft & re weld it back on at a 45o angle. once you find a mole popping it;s little nose up you strike down with some force on the dig, if your lucky the damm thing will shoot up in the air ,then get ready to squish the critter or you'll miss him cause by fick there quick. all the best WB. tiercel
One of the best ways i have to control moles is to shoot them. May sound daft but it works. Meathod. Moles are creatures of habbit and patrol thier runs at set times all you have to find out is that time, then you walk the area with a shot gun at that time.As the hills begin to move put a shot into it then pull back the earth and grab the mole but watch out it is still alive and will bite if given the chance. The moles are just stunned by the shock of the pellets hitting the hill, and you have about 30 seconds to grab it after that it will be gone. In the past i have accounted for a fair number of moles with this meathod, 5 being the best evening.
Butchers Dog
Part the soil on the mole hill so you can see the tunnel and pour about 20ml of creosort into the hole then fill it in with the soil from the hill. you'll never see a mole in your garden again. they hate the smell of it and scarper. regs scott
