Lloyd90
Anyone know if when you get a barrel cut shorter , whether you can have the iron sights put back on further down ? I have an old BRNO Model 2 22lr but it's full length and tempted to cut it down to 14-16" approx Just think it would be a shame to see the irons go despite using the scope If possible any ideas of how much it'd cost ? I imagine if it is keeping the barrel a bit longer (say 16") would be best ?
welshwarrior
It's possible the barrel on the mod 2 is turned down and a the front sight is on a band that's sweated on so it can be done.
moorvale55
Had a CZ 452 in .22lr cut down to 16", screwcut and re crowned, got rid of the iron sights though as it's used with a scope. The job was very well done, the rifle is very accurate and the total cost was £50.00. Hope this helps.
