Daveo26
Anyone one got any thoughts on the above motor? Seem to be available at reasonable money and look well equipped. Thinking about selling my defender for something more comfortable on the motorway and like the idea of lpg.......
stuart21
I bought a W reg in 2006, it was the 4.7 V8 and it was a great car. The only issue I had was something to do with the lambda sensor, but that was easily fixed. I kept it for 4 years and sold it with 104k on the clock. I remember it sometimes having a slight judder on full lock, but I didn't do anything with it. It was comfortable and quick, and with the cost of lpg, was pretty cheap to run. I had it before I got into shooting, so I never drove it off road.

Xr1200
My mate had one and he loved it but some parts aren't readily available he had to get a couple of bits on back order, you would only pine for another Landy if u got rid anyway lol
jonny thomas
Great motor car knocks the socks off anything land rover produce Of course the one life live it camo wearers will say different Land rover would probably best it driving up the side of a mountain but with all their reliability issues wouldn't get to the bloody mountain in the first place Ask any sensible member of the motor trade I can assure you the majority of use can't stand land rovers they are a good constant source of trouble and probably twice the price of the equivalent jeep Edited January 24, 2015 by jonny thomas
