Spook
I have a Midland O/U but it has no chokes. I have been trying to identify what else they would fit but without a choke to measure for comparison I have drawn a blank......until today! I went to my local RFD to collect a rifle that had been delivered (Thank you Welsh Warrior - you're a star and the rifle is better than I expected!) and there on the rack was another Midland, even better - it is a multi choke! Whilst the gun only has two chokes and there was no way I'd be able to buy the chokes from it without buying the rest of the gun I have been loaned one choke to measure up and photograph to see if I can identify what else it fits. If anyone with a multichoke could spare the time to measure there chokes for me it would be much appreciated. The sizes are:- 45.8mm over all length 1.8" 30mm from the start of the choke to the start of the threads 1.18" 19.6mm outside diameter at the breech end 0.77" 18.6mm inside diameter at the breech end 0.73" 20.16mm outside diameter at the muzzle end (including thread thickness) 0.79" 18.6mm inside diameter at the breech end 0.73" The choke I have is stamped "Cylinder" Thanks for taking the time to measure you're chokes - You're all great! Spook
I'm thinking it could be the same as a Fabarm or possibly Franchi?? Edited February 13, 2015 by Spook
Greenhunter
I only have 20g's so can't help with measurements, however, if all else fails you could perhaps try ringing Nigel Teague. He may be able to tell you what type of choke you need. Teague presicion chokes is the company name. Google it.
