Gun fitting

Last year I replaced my faithful T Wild hammer gun with an even older vintage Pape ejector s x s. Pheasant season went not to bad did not hit any more than usual. Roost shooting for pigeons has been a disaster with cartridge to kill ratio at around 4 to 1. On coming pigeon which are hit invariably have broken left wing. Anyone out there with a suggestion to cure this other than resorting to stock alterations. Shooting from right shoulder but it has been suggested that I may have centre vision.

Test your vision before you even think about doing anything with the gun.

With both eyes open, bring your arm up and point at something.

Hold your finger there as steady as you can and then close you left eye.

Hopefully you should still be pointingat the object not off to one side.

If you close your right eye only your finger should be to the right of the object.

If your finger and the object lines up with your left eye and not your right, you will then need to work on that.

Thanks stuarpt will try that, perhaps I am only going through a bad patch but the wealth of knowledge on this forum makes it well worth asking.
