Keith RW
afternoon guys, just been out for a round of clays with my trusty old Browning (1973 Liege), suffered a couple of "misfires" due to light strikes, now stripped down for a clean and investigation to find old and tired firing pins that require replacing. Does anyone know where I might source some ? cheers, Keith
Andy135
Brownells / Midway UK will do them. Not expensive either.
Salopian
Most good gunsmiths will stock them or make them for you . Often it is just crud and carbon/unburnt powder and gunoil slurry that is stopping the pins from full travel. Remove pins and spring, clean with Qtip check pins for wear and oil and re-assemble. Thats my first job and presently in progress, just taken some photos before rebuilding and enquiring on here so as to get a hold of some ready for if not successfull, not the first time they have been looked at in 42 years I suspect ...
