bud84
Hi all, i'm looking at getting a rotary machine and came across the Sillosocks hypalite one. I like the look of it as it looks simple and nice and light to carry, also it extends to a good height. I know it won't take dead birds but the hypaflaps seem to bring them in well enough so i'm not too bothered about that. I just wondered of anyone had any experience or opinions, good or bad, with this rotary? Thanks in advance, Paul.

Cranfield
One of my rotarys is the hypalight and it performs well and gets a lot of work. You understand that it is not for dead birds and that is the only compromise.
bud84
Thanks for the replies. I have seen that one Davyo, how do you find it? The main thing i like about the Sillosocks is it looks so lightweight, anything to make the kit bag a bit lighter. As for price it is £

As for price it is £150 Hi mate it's 1/4 of the weight of a standard rotary,I use it with either my proflaps or my hyperflaps. On Friday when I was out the proflaps & hyperflaps got hammered in the wind so I reverted to dead birds and it ran for 3 hrs with no issues. I don't thing the remote is up to scratch however,it claims 70mtrs more like 10mtrs to be honest but I still prefer it to a standard heavy rotary.Prices for this vary I paid about £75 including the battery ( battery came with a nice little holder with shoulder strap).Seen them on the bay for stupid money from £100 to £180 for the same package,Can't recall where I got mine but it was £75 all in with next day free delivery.
