Dunkield
I have a few but his one is well written by a man who knows his deer. It is roe specific but a lot that applies to them applies to other species. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roe-Deer-Management-Richard-Prior/dp/1840371382/ref=pd_sim_b_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0N9W25607YDHVGAM76FK
LeadWasp
As a basic introduction to deer rather than stalking them 'Deer Watch' by Richard Prior gives an overview (ISBN 1-84689-013-0) I am really enjoying the easy style of another of his books at the moment 'Deer:Sporting Answers' ISBN 978-1-84689-077-2 Although a little dated The Game Conservancy's 'Deer Management in Small Woodlands' - don't think it has an ISBN - is more specifically about stalking them. Ha ha I've just realised it's a Prior book too (should ask for commission). Coch-y-bonndu books (www.anglebooks.com) has great sporting titles and I've found them to give great, speedy customer service. They also trade through Amazon.
