Scope Advice / recommendations ??

Been thinking of replacing my 15 year old 4 x 40mm Nikko Sterling Gold scope on my Ruger 77/22 rimfire (using subsonic ammo) with a Hawke Endurance MAP 3.5 - 10 x50. Nearly all of my shooting is in the field at rabbits.

Has anyone used one of these scopes - what's your verdict ?

Or have you got any other recommendations - don't want to really spend much more than £100, but can pick up the Endurance MAP for @ £80  .

Thanks for the reply - so where can I get one cheaper then  :( ??

Could you please make a measurement for me - I'd like to know what the maximum outside diameter is . I've tried a mate's old 50mm scope, but it's got a parallax adjustment ring on it which makes it a little bit too big :good: :( .

Ordered it today - thanks for your help magman. Think the one I've ordered is slightly different to the one you've got as it's a new model & only just released :-

http://www.hawkeoptics.com/riflescopes/endurancemap.htm

It's got the M.A.P. 8 Reticle which is designed for subsonic rimfires.

On my AA s200 I've got a Hawke MAP scope - no parallax, on my AA s410 XTRA (FAC) I've got a Hawke Nite Eye with centre illuminated - with parallax on front and on my new .22 rimfire I've got a Hawke Nite Eye illuminated centre dot - no parallax.

To be honest, I find parallax a bit fiddly, the centre dot scope is RRP at £130 but I got it for £117 post paid, and it has like a german sniper (3 post) reticule.
