spinach
Never really knew what that meant. Thanks to all who contacted about our springer. Bigbird sorry for not getting in touch I may at some point . Our fingers are collectively crossed for your recent amorous household! We sent her to stay with someone we know who trains and breeds occasionally working dogs. He's very calm and picks up so much from them he appears like a horse whisperer but for dogs! He's put his finger on her inability to focus (on who shes with)outside which is where we have been having problems. So it's back to basics and when she comes back it'll be a lot of lead and structure !! Amazing how quickly a dog can fill your time. Joe reckons he's seen it in spade bitches when they seem to get stuck hormonally, though without knowing the dog earlier it's difficult to say if its just her! Anyway thanks again and if anyone knows how to get focus, without having to wear a bag of spillers as a jacket I'd be eternally greatful. Cheers John. bigbird
How's she getting on now, John?
spinach
Picking her up tomorrow! Some movement in the right direction !! Strict few months and then see how we get on. The good thing is Emma is wondering about another dog. I met a girl who used to walk her ,summed up what we'd thought no dicipline too much freedom and far too much crate! Still hoping we can manage her as Emma still smitten but it's going to take some work!! How's your fecund household? John.
