Hi mate, Getting a fert was the best thing Ive done this year, Ive had many enojoyable days out with my jill netting up rabbit warrens, and look forward to the first offspring in the coming months. I myself have asked a fair few questions on the "Country Sports" forum, so if you have a search through my posts, or even the whole forum you'll find a wealth of knowledge about the critters!! :good:

Good luck with them! :good:

The Search suggestion is a good one, as the subjects that might need to be covered are quite varied.

It would be useful for you to find a ferreter in your area and see if you could tag along for a few tips (bit late in the season now), or at least get some hands-on experience with his ferrets.

Having spent the last 20 years keeping & working ferrets, I have the following advice -:

1. Read books on the subject.

2. Find someone to go out hunting with.

3. Get your own ferrets & nets etc.

4. Learn everything for yourself!!!!

Don't expect to be an expert over night

You will "loose" more bunnies than you catch, BUT learn from your errors!!!!

Most importantly......

Have fun.
