Dan.lord
Hi all, I was recently given a handful old old paper cartridges. I like the old style stuff, thought some of you might be interested :-) Don't really know how old they are, but they all have Eley Kynoch on the base, so I'd say they are fairly old 50's -60's ? Anyway I thought I'd put up a few piccys of them. Cheers Dan.
Floating Chamber
The last three I would date as: first one, 1950 to early 1960s. Second and third, mid 1960s early 1970s. The MAXIMUM is quite rare, together with the HYMAX which had red print on a blue case.
dipper
My first gun was a manton 16 when I was still at school first cartridges I got from Stensby were paper rolled .Second time I got some more they were crimp closure . My mate had a 12 he used maximum all the time . Being a young lad I got to thinking that I wished they made 16 maximum . Short time after they actually made them . So saving my coppers up I got some .Dont think made them for long. Dipper.
TaxiDriver
Out of curiosity, Can I ask where you got these or From whom ? Reason I ask is I gave away a remarkably similar collection to someone.

Reason I ask is I gave away a remarkably similar collection to someone. Can't remember his name, I brought several boxes from him of "normal" 16g stuff & he gave me a bag of odds n **** & these were in there :-) Thanks for the info FC interesting to know :-)
