pegasus bridge
Hi gents, I replaced the fuel lines on an old strimmer , a McCulloch trimac 210, but now the bulb doesn't appear to prime very well . I have been back over and it seems airtight. On this system I understand the bulb pressures the tank, is the air supposed to go into the tank via the shorter tube, at the momenent when you press the bulb it is blowing through the filter attached to the longer tune in the tank... If I just swap them over- what's the worse that could happen?
fortune
Swap the lines over. You have fixed them on the wrong way round and instead of sucking fuel up it is blowing air down the inlet hose. You won't have done any harm to the machine
