bazzab
Evening all. Odd question but the PW massive know everything My wife is looking for a Z4. Around 2004/2005. I can't seem to find anywhere to get an accurate road tax price. So my question is does anyone one? If so can I ask what engine and cost of tax please? Kind regards. Bazza. twitchynik
Try the DVLA. Sling in the reg of a car you're looking at: https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk
terence
If you look on auto trader at z4 it gives it at £290 for 2.2 /2.5 and 3.0 ltr
bazzab
Thank you mate that's very helpful. She's looking at the 2.2lt so should be fine. Can't handle paying £490 for tax. That would finish me off hahaha.
jonny thomas
Buy 1 of them and pricey road tax will be the least of your worries But still they're pretty and it says bmw on the front (just my opinion of course) 30+ years motor trade
DazzJo
My friend has a 2005 plate Z4 and he pays £270 for 2.2ltr but he's had nothing but trouble with it, bits breaking, things going wrong in the engine due to using different petrols from different supermarkets/fuel stations. And also he says its a complete bone shaker, feel everything in the road so he's getting rid and having a Jeep for comfort now... Labrat
I've had two Z4's a 2.2 and a 3.2 Z4M. Both were fantastic and there isn't a day goes by that I dont miss them, but not much good on farm tracks and you'd struggle to get a gun in the boot! If you get one, first thing to do is ditch the god awful runflat tyres, it will make the world of difference to the ride and handling.
