ratty1
Thanks skully. Not quite what I'm looking for but interesting all the same, will be using 4x2 but not for a permanent hide, want to be able to take down and move if need be. Alycidon
4x 2 timber, 3 m lengths + extra bracing + ladder steps + frame etc, that is not going to be a one man carry unless you are very fit. You can get a lightweight high seat to easy to carry and ladder comes in 2 sections but not to cheap. Seat does not numb you bum to badly either, even I can carry it a hundred yards or more. http://www.jager-sport.co.uk/?id=2&pid=175 A

In that case save yourself a lot of time and hassle and get one of these: http://www.bushwear.co.uk/stalking-hunting-shooting/highseats/bushwear-panther-folding-highseat.html We have one, it's as solid as a rock and although not the lightest can be carried by one....but not too far. ratty1
I went ahead and built one out of timber for £60, a tad heavy bup not a problem for where it's going. I will have to save up for a portable one like you guys have posted.thanks anyway.
