palombier
Ray Most gunstock oils basically consist of boiled linseed with driers and other ingredients which are guntrade secrets. You wont go far wrong just using the first 2. regards P

wy111
I always use Teak Oil on the newly cleaned timber, then when cleaning, a good wipe of ordinary gun oil
palombier
Rayo Driers are paint driers such as Turpentine or Terebene, i believe there are others. P

Blackpowder
Cheers Guys Im off to look around for the oil today Ray Make sure you use BOILED linseed oil, first coat thinned with good quality turpentine, rub well in with the heel of the palm then keep building up allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Highlander
Yes DON'T use ordinary linseed oil, that'd be like covering the your gun in Tate & Lyles best
