Dont bother....

There is a difference between cheap scopes on ebay....and rip offs....

I bought my scope off ebay, for £110, its worth alot more than that, but one difference is, its a genuine product.

Simmonds White tail classic which i got shipped over from the states from a gun shop.

The scopes you are on about are cheap rip offs...chinese make them and try to flog them off as manufacturer brands when infact they are about as useless and as stable as a chocolate kettle.

I Also bought a scope from HK a 6-18X50 AO and it's spot on.

Clear crisp image and it holds it's zero with no problems what so ever. I paid about £40 posted WITH the high mounts and have since ordered a few other parts from the seller and am MORE than happy with them.

I even bought the green laser <15mW i beleive for the S-16 before i sold it but i kept the laser as it's sweet for dawn dusk shooting.

I've been looking at these. Whats the green laser like for night shooting, in comparison to the 400mw red?

>How comes when i was a nooby i asked about these scopes...everyone warned me away..now everyone has bought one

Everyone can be tempted to try and save a bit of money. What is normally learnt in these cases is that you get what you pay for. I would rather not learn this when I am faced with a particularly nice deer, or a field full of rabbits. Similarly I have harris bipods on my centrefire rifles rather than Rockmount etc....

After spending hundreds of pounds on a rifle I think the least you could do is spend a bit on a decent scope :good:

400mW red laser :good:

You could kill the rabbit just with the laser beam :good:

The green laser puts a VISIBLE spot on a building about 1/2 a mile away poss further if i was to use a scope.

A useful dot out to about 100 yards is no trouble.
