Underdog
Yes, a lot don't leave their car, but not all of them! Just like not all running dog men are bad. I use to run dogs too, is good sport. The cubs though are not orphaned as we understand orphaning. Most will survive instinctively, the runts with ma or not usually die anyway. Aunts and uncles are close to hand and never forget dad! The one thing a dog has over a gun is that if the dog misses, it is a clean miss! Good luck this autumn mate :-)
WelshMike
Very true we have that thing against riflemen that for sure but like I said its my opinion that Cubs would be better delt with first. Problem is rifle men mainly shoot just for sake of it very few are actually doing for pest control and please don't say that's not true I would say 80% don't bother leaving the car. We don't wait for the cover to subside we have a set season that we stick to and that is it. Each to there own just matter of opinion I fall in the 20% on this as I rarely spend any time in a vehicle. Lets be honest the motivation for most people who shoot or run dogs (in a non professional way) is enjoyment. I wouldnt stay out till 2.30 in the morning unless I enjoyed what I did. Always one that sparks some conversation. As you said, each to their own. The countryside is big enough for all parties, even though the riflemen do the bulk of the hard work while you boys make your dogs do all the hard work
fruity
The debate is continuing due to a milky vixen in the picture that I shot after walking miles and spending a fortune building a high seat to protect free range chickens. (so no it's not for fun and not shot from a vehicle ) I then went back a despatched the cubs So What's the issue ??
