Took the hyperflaps out yesterday on a field of rape. Very windy 25mph plus. All went well birds coming in fine then it happened one pair of wings from the whirler went whizzing down the field. Panic thought decoy had come off but no wing section had come away. Both self tappers had pulled out :good::good: . I have removed the other set and glued both lots of self tappers in. SUGGEST YOU ALL DO YOURS ASAP. :good::good:

 Now come on boys you now all new gizmos have to be modified buy the buyer even if they do cost £45

untill you lot sort out all the mods I will stick to my flock coated winged decoys

All I can suggest is that the birds may have had some damage in transit weakening the screw fitting? Without seeing it I cant comment. Ive busted a couple up by squashing them with heavy stuff in the back of my car but they are fixable. I just ran a bead of No More Nails down the join and screwed them back together in different screw positions. Piece of cake.

:blush: Have found out why the wings come off. Its the angle of the cradle on the whirler. It must be parallel. Mine were running slightly tipped back have modified whirler arm. used them yesterday no problem.
