V8 90
I'm a trap shooter & have only ever seen 1 person using a semi auto at a competition. Competition trap shooting is about focus & mind set - could you achieve it whilst been peppered with spent shells ? I know I couldn't. I own 1 but wouldn't use it at a comp The only person I've seen use 1 at a comp did indeed have to load it to take each shot & unload if he didn't use the 2 shots. welshwarrior
Used to be fairly common but died out not totally sure why but suspect from a distraction point of view. Got a friend who shoot OT at a high level with his Remi 1100 I'll ask him when I see him again.

TDS
Elastic band around the ejection port acts as a cheap shell deflector...bit of trial and error with position..
