Cakie174
Hi Does anyone use one of these or have any experience of these gadgets. They have 10 prerecorded calls and cost a fair bit. £175 each. regards Richard

Lurch
In't that just the case for game species?
Quercus
Save yourself a fourtune and make one of these They work very well. It is only illegal to use recorded sounds to call birds. However it is not illegal to use computer generated sounds. A case of technology overtaking the law. As for mammals you can use any sort of sound you like. M ROBSON
I've used one for about 2 years now, there great for Crows and Foxes and the Magpie call is unbeatable.
the barbarian
I have tried one of these callers several times when going after the black stuff on an estate I shoot over. 1st time out 89 payed the price, 2nd time out 72 payed the price, other outings have normally been 30 to 40 each time. I used 3 plastic decoys to get things started and as the crows were shot I set them up on cradles. on a calm day you can call the crows in from quite some distance.
