norfolk dumpling Posted July 20, 2015 Report Share Posted July 20, 2015 Wow what a year for fruit. Got a big surplus so cherries soaking up brandy and black currants in a ltr of spiced rum. The latter mix has infused very quickly and an early taste - you just have to don't you - is amazing. I've got a feeling from SWMBO's observations this one may struggle to get to the hip flask. Anyone done damson gin from frozen fruit - my last lot tasted wonderful but was a pale pink. Caused quite a bit of confusion when we shared out a bottle at beaters day meal.
