There is a company in Hatfield do you mean them? black and green website? nightvisionoptics or somthing???

Don't think it was them, I think he was probably an agent for someone, I just remember thinking I'll look him up if all else fails, which it has.

the one near royston is http://www.nightvisionsupplies.co.uk/

the one in hatfield is http://www.nightvisionsuppliesltd.co.uk/

they are both good blokes, what sort of equipment are you after? and for which gun?

both will arrange demo's

hope this helps

Was hoping to get gen2+ or Dep3 6x, for 22-250, spoke to Rob at one of the above before xmas, but no-one seems to stock any expensive gear for you to test, they all seem to keep gen1 monoculars and thats it,

anything over 2 grand they want you to pay up front, wait for weeks, and then not be able to return it if you are not satified because it was a special order. All I want to do is look through something at night, and if I like it, pay for it and take it away. It used to be called shopping.

The Barn Shop?

Had a look at the website but couldn't see any night vision gear, but thanks for trying to help

Andy, contact Rob ASAP or message me and i will give you my contact details.

for a couple of days he will have a fixed day/night system-6x mag and it is stunning

you could come out shooting with us and have a look but it will be going out this week so you need to hurry.

its a weaver mounted 6x illuminated ret dayscope that you flip a lever to use at night, the optics are superb and it has a very fine ret which is often the down side on fixed systems. its not too expensive either

if i come you can also see a gen2+xvd add on system(which looks **** in comparison  )

with regards to the ordering in and keeping stock of gen2+ and higher systems, both of the mentioned companies are blokes that buy units and sell on for a bit of profit. they do alright by it but you would need to outlay £100K+ just to get one of everything in stock. it cannot be done unless you run a big company.
