big bad lindz
I will soon have to replace my tyres on my Nissan X Trail and I have been looking about but there to many to choose from. I also don't know if I want to put on winter tyre or a 60/40 tyre or replace like for like as to what I have. I do very little motorway driving and I do live in rural area and sometimes the roads are not treated before I get out shooting in the winter. I also tow my caravan all year in all weather conditions. I do sometimes go off road on farm tracks and onto stubble fields but not major mud slugging. So I am wondering what members of PW would suggest. Cheers
robbiep
If what you have been using works, then just replace like-for-like. Why change, to possibly find that the new ones don't do what you need, and then you've got to change again. In my case, we have Hankook A/T tyres on our Shogun Sport. But it spends quite a bit of time on fields, and in all weathers, tows livestock trailers, etc.
