We'll blow me down with a feather--- just checked out the website for the Gaucher Phantom 9mm silenced version and they now finally have them listed....

Pricey though but hey- not had a new toy for ages :-)

Got some rats in the winter that need to go as well as trying out those little slugs too

This is s gun that will depreciate fast and be difficult to sell

I should certainly buy a 9 mm second hand for that reason I bet most haven't fired more than a few hundred shells no matter how old

Thanks to our friendly neighbourhood wabbitbosher, I have a lovely Webley 9mm on the way up to me!

GOMX that looks amazing can I ask where you get ammo from? Seems very difficult to find so it may be worth buying a few boxes when I find a good stockist.

You can't go wrong with Webley great little tools, enjoy ...

My photo doesn't do it justice i will post some better ones , My local dealer always has a few boxes laying around http://www.bassettsguns.co.uk/

Any Fiocchi stockits like http://www.justcartridges.com/cartridges/FI/Fiocchi (click on there Fiocchi PDF for 9mm listings )should be able to get hold of them for you for around £6-£7 box of 50

Had one and thought it pretty useless tbh. Very limited range and very limited knock down power with the dustshot cartridges. 22 springer would be what I'd normally use on rats.

Agreed, rats need to be sub 10 yards, ideally about 5 yards. Used to be a fair gun for 15 yard house sparrows some 45 years ago or more when we were plauged with them. Ammo at the time was the same cost as 12 bore ammo. I cut my shooting teeth with that 9mm, I could stalk in to about 10 yards from a rabbit, let drive and it ran away, every time. Took me 18 months to bring one home. Mind the only carts available were Flobert 9s I think but maybe 10s. Loading them with 6s would be much better.
