wy111
I have been using Speer 100gn btsp for deer and Speer 70gn tnt for foxes. I've recently bought 500 Nosler 70gn Ballistic tips, which I am working up a load for foxes. It will be 41.4 gns of Varget, I'm just varying seating depth to try and improve consistant moa, best so far.03 off lands, giving .464moa @ 100yds. Graham M
70grn V-max using 45grns H414 for fox and 100grn Nosler partitions using 40grns H414 for deer. Federal 210 primers and Lapua/Privi Partisan brass. Still messing around with the 70grns but the 100 grn bullets shoot very well. G.M. miffy
Am using 65 grain Vmax and H414 for fox, And as i haven't tried to sort a load out for deer yet, i am using factory 100 Grain federal soft points for deer. Both loads are same POI too
Ballie
I use Nosler 70gn BT for foxes and Muntjac. My load is 41.0 gns of Varget with 2.720 over all bullet length, which is 50 thou off my rifle lands (this is as close as I can get allowing 6mm of bullet in the brass) this gives me about 3,300fps with 1/2" groups @ 100yds. Zeroed 1" high @ 100yds gives you; +.90" @ 150, - .40" @ 200, - 3" @ 250, - 7" @ 300 I am happy to shoot with confidence up to 300yds (the longest fox I've shot is 280yds, which I gave 5" hold over)
