oxfordfowler
Had a trip out there last week - fields still full of cows and calves. Some of the new scrapes have a little water (and Cows) in them - but no duck activity. There were a few passing ducks (Mallard & Teal). I ended up with 1 hen Mallard. Still too early in the season. I would give it a month before going again unless the weather turns wet. OXF
Konnie
it has some scrapes on it now, so if the slacker has been open in those big tides could be some water.
oxfordfowler
No chance of the slacker being opened. Water levels in surrounding area low.
Crossylad
Was the gate to the track open ? my mates booked us in for sat . Would we be better off doing a morning flight at the wash then head to askew for the evening ? Was there nothing coming in to the scrapes at last light ? The gate to the track should never be open , you need to apply for a key, if you want to use it.
