Bigbob
Thought i'd treat myself and i bought 6 spools of this red spun nylon, I fancy making 50 nets 4ft long and 20 meshes wide 25 nets with 2 "meshes and 25 nets with 2 1/2 " mesh with different coloured draw cord to tell the differance between the nets. Hopefully being spun nylon they will last a lifetime and i'll never loose one.

Bigbob
Ive got 300hemp purse nets but my 13 year olds alway moaning about drying them after a outing so hopefully these will end that and the 2 inch mesh ones will be right handy at the start and end of the season
Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
spun nylon. I have made lots of nets from hemp rabbit purse, fox and my 70yd longnet. If you don't mind the drying out carry on making with hemp as it is without equal for setting purposes (doesn't fold itself in knots or pick up every twig in the area). HOWEVER spun nylon isn't far behind in the ease of setting stakes and when you are finished for the day in the cupboard they go in the bags and they are ready for next time no worries about rotting or grief about nets hung up to dry from 'er indoors. i make my nets for rabbits 2 inch mesh, 15 meshes wide, 18 rows(3feet) long.
