manthing
We have a halfrauds on the local trading estate, which I don't use much except for their pro range of spammers because they have a life time guarantee. We also have a General Traffic on one of the side streets opposite the trading estate and it's much better.
grrclark
Halford are now much more of an outdoor lifestyle type store and they offer convenience in prime location retail parks and charge accordingly. Very much like the DIY sheds you can buy much cheaper if you go to trade oriented outlets, but for many people that seems to be intimidating so they do the high street. Having said that I used them last week when I needed to go an buy a couple of individual nuts and bolts. I know I paid over the odds, but it was a Sunday morning and I had a job to finish so I was glad they were there.
Pheasant Feeder
For me any parts are either from Andrew pages or if a bit specialsied its the landrover independant or main dealer. Halfords is the first choice for the" oh **** I need a thingemy bob" on a sunday morning or after 5 during the week.
