jamie101
Hi everyone. I know this may be a sore subject with some people but does anyone know someone who would dock the tails on sprocker puppies (that is if my little lexy is pregnant. We will find out in another week or so) i just wanted someone i could contact if shes in pup to sort it out sooner rather than last minute. Also i was looking at having dew claws removed. I had a springer that ripped one off once and it was a horrible experiance for the dog aswell as myself to see her in pain like that. I know some people dont agree with this but i see both things as a benifit for the dog when out working. Thanks in advance everyone. Paul T
Vet is the only (legal) option for docking mate. Mine will do my dogs ONLY, but that's because I provide him with a lot of business. He won't do it routinely. Dew claws anyone can do, but make sure they know what they are doing. I do my own and it's easy once you've been shown how to do it.

jamie101
Thank you for the reply paul T i know a vet is the only way forward. I wouldent put the pups in anyones hands that diddent know what they were doing. Same with the dew claws, although I diddent know they could be done at home so to speek. Thank you aswell felly for the reply i am a certificate holder and i do use lexy for working so i should be ok in that respect. Do you have any idea what they charge for docking per pup? Thanks again. J

Danger-Mouse
Have you let little Lexy get knocked up Jamie? How you doing mate? Haven`t seen you in ages. Are you back at Braithwell yet after your summer caravaning exploits? I might be up there next weekend, let me know if you`re going.
