numpty
I broke a hide pole last weekend just above the kicker plate and wanted to repair it, remembered I had seen a fishing umbrella ground claw with footplate on ebay some time back so ordered one to see what it was like.....result! Just pop the broken pole in, tighten up and away you go.They even do a stainless steel one! Please see link below. Edited November 2, 2015 by Cranfield Please don't post eBay links, see House Rules. Cranfield
I have bought these to "repair" hide poles when the kicker section gets loose on the pole, the net wobbling about drives me nuts. Just saw of the old section and place the end of the hide pole in one of these, its a nice tight fit.
