Matty1990
Hi all, new to shooting and just got me self a lanber 12g. Was just wondering if the barrel of the gun needs threading to take chokes or is it just the choke.
B25Modelman
It would be nice to know what the chocking is. There are also some good, recent, topics on choke so perhaps a troll through those will help you understand.
Scully
Not really sure I understand the question, but are you saying your gun is fixed choke and you want to know about having it multi-choked?
DaveyTed
I don't think the OP knows if it's fixed choke or not. If it multi-choked with standard Lanber chokes there will be 4 small square cut-outs visible looking into the end of the barrel. These are to accept the choke key. No cut-outs - more likely fixed choke or possibly Teague after market chokes. Of course, ensure the gun is unloaded before you do this! Whilst the Lanber is a good gun in its' price range it is not financially viable to convert to multi-choke from fixed choke. Good luck with your shooting and don't be over concerned with chokes. Guest cookoff013
If you had a location listed in sure a local body would help guide you through choke selecton, maintenance, greasing, selection and thread cleaning.
