Glenlivet
Had a round of skeet at the Boar shooting ground in Glossop this morning. High winds made it "challenging". Clays from the high house were landing in the middle of the range and low house behaving like flying saucers on amphetamines. I didn't fare too badly, having done some rough shooting in the past, but at times the wife might as well have thrown the cartridges at the clays. Ah well, a bad day's shooting is still better than a good day at the office :-)
Danger-Mouse
It`s always fun shooting skeet in the wind. Only been to the Boar once and it was on a nice calm day. Can imagine how windy it gets up there though.
Lord Geordie
Shot compact sporting at Steve Smiths once, and there are two traps on the far hill with flushed birds! Upon the command of pull, the bird went up, and up, and up and a few were forced down seconds after leaving the trap! Yeah it's good fun in a bit of a blow!
