tweedledee
My advice is whatever you see best through.can't shoot what you can't see
kennett
Depends what you want it for, the 50mm objective lens will pull more light in if lamping, and if you are using it at night I found the reticle made a huge difference, mine came with a Pecar that was way too fine and disappeared at night. Switched it for a Mil dot nikko Stirling and it made a huge difference
Johnmcface
The Hawke mildot is good for night shooting and have had several of the endurance range scopes which have been very good, still have one on my 17 hmr now, customer services are also good and always been helpful. I broke one of the metal flip up scope covers and they sent a replacement straight out no quibble. Glass is good with them but the eye relief can take a bit of getting use to. Vortex have a very good warrenty, probobaly one of the best around and it is a lifetime transferable. I have a Vortex Razor HD and have had the Viper PST neither have let me down once.
