the hitman
I have been helping a friend feed a very good pond , and last season it pulled a lot of mallard . We shot the pond recently, and we must have had in excess of 100 teal come in, of which we shot a dozen, however very few mallard . I am no expert wildfowlers , but am I right in thinking that the teal will chase mallards off a pond . Hitman .
fenboy
I very much doubt it , I would be more than happy as they are more sporting !

rjimmer
Mallard are supposed to dislike all the commotion that goes on, caused by the teal squabbling with each other. We used to shoot a lot more teal than mallard until someone put some snails in one pond. That attracted a lot of pochard.
