Medically I was told anxiety is a form of depression, a chemical imbalance that the tablets can help stabilise. I also spoke with a specialist and talked about it and she said it was more anxiety (worrying about what the future held) than depression we all associated with the depressed

If that's what you were told, makes no sense to me though, anxiety is a 'normal' feeling, that can become very troublesome, but it's not depression.

50mg ami per night to sleep! 've been on the 20mg mod release and can't hold a sensible conversation at the mo! Yeah, I know I struggle without, ha!

Trying to reduce the dose now back down to 10mg so I'm a bit more 'with it'. I don't know how some can take opiates for pleasure.

Oh, and for those who think 'I'm tough, I don't need painkillers' well, you ain't in pain mate!

I started on a low dose of amp, 10mg I think, that didn't work so doc said just keep doubling dose until it does work because it's such a low dose,

I only went to 30mg and that was enough for me.

You are right about those that say they don't need painkillers, I was housebound for 3 months when mine went,

1-2 hours restless sleep per night......was scared witless
