Vince Green
I got a free pass in London at 60 which can be used not only on the buses but also all of London Underground and quite a lot of the overground trains outside peak hours, but it doesn't work in Wales. How would I stand about applying for a second one for Wales?
Chris Bb
I got a free pass in London at 60 which can be used not only on the buses but also all of London Underground and quite a lot of the overground trains outside peak hours, but it doesn't work in Wales. How would I stand about applying for a second one for Wales? I don't think the "provincial" ones work in London and vice versa. Certainly a Hampshire one works in Devon and other non-London counties. Anybody know better? I'd love to be able to use mine in London.
Vince Green
The winter fuel allowance is only paid to people born before 5th Jan 1953 and so you would have to be 63 now and that date hasn't changed for three years so it looks very likely they are just letting the winter fuel allowance time out. My Aunt still gets it and she is in an Old People's Home and its paid to a lot of people who live abroad. I suspect our friends who live in France still get it, I will have to try and remember to ask them.
