Feltwad
Hi Thanks for posting Interesting old stuff can you tell us what they were used for catching or a bit of there history All the best Of There are several different types of traps in the image, the large ones are a foreign bear trap and a small version of a man trap , the gin traps vary from Otter trap , Fox trap , Rabbit trap , and a small rat or weasel trap ,this small trap was mainly used in small drains and stone walls . There are several types of pole traps from the large one for large birds , the small ones which includes a hugger trap for hawks etc and a small one baited with a dead fish for kingfishers .For moles there are two types of barrel traps and a hump back mole trap which speared the mole when it dislodged the trip . At the front of the image is a early clay trap and a trip wire gun {see full image}. It is now illegal to use most of these traps Feltwad Trip Wire Gun Edited February 6, 2016 by Feltwad
