Oly
OK - so do I go for some Deerhunter Advantage Timber or DPM Goretex? How noisy is british DPM goretex? I would probably go with the cheaper option of DPM goretex if I knew it was silent and found a jacket model with pockets! Any suggestions? Considering I'm going to be using it for stalking, foxing & rough shooting
Peter_HMR
My dad has a pair of the best trousers i have ever seen anyone with. I think its storm tech cloth or something. They're a bib and brace and its soft to the touch so absoluely no noise but 100% waterproof and i mean you could sit in a puddle. They're also breatable. The only thing i know about them he got them in Basspro when he was in america try they're websited they'll ship to ireland. Imo the perfect all rounder pair of trousers -=EDIT=- Just found them http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...16000_400-16-14 They've clearance stock at $40 im def buying another pair. Ive just tried his and they're large im 5 8" or 9" 34W and 32L and they fit fine although theres a bit of slack so im going to order a pair of mediums for myself
luckytrigger
I mix and match depending on terrain. But more often than not i wear my old issue '95' smock with realtree trousers. I find i stand out a bit too much along the hedgerows in hardwoods green this tme of the year.

invector
I use Flecktarn. 100% waterproof, (I hollowed out a section over a bowl, poured in water and after several hours nothing got through.)

Guest
I was out in Torquay on the YFC agm on the weekend in full DPM camo for the military fancy dress theme, and in low light conditions, even at distances of less than 10m my mates had a job to spot me stood against a thick tree/bush. So, it's good enough for me and best of all - Cheap!
