Bluing Rub.

Are there any quick fix solutions for marks like this or is it a case of getting the barrels re-blued?

I've got a nice old AYA No.2 that has a few scuffs on the barrel that I'd like sorting.

With forend marks you will be re-blueing the barrels every couple of weeks. The rubs should be hidden by the forend so suggest you live with it. Edited by Glenlivet

I meant marks in general, I'm not bothered about under the forend as like you say they aren't visible and will wear quick.

I'd just like to get rid of a few marks which are annoying but the rest of the barrels are a nice colour for their age so I didn't particularly want the whole lot looking too black.

They are definitely more blue than black too so I'd like to keep it a similar colour.
