Axe
Jamie, I'd go with a Deben Max Pro mate. Its a damn fine lamp and isnt gonna cost much more. You then end up with a lamp that can be used for everything. In particular, you will be able to scan the otherside of a field so you know which way to head for the next target. pin
Definitely get one with variable power if your budget stretches to it (not a whole load more). With lamping for rabbit you don't want a 3 mile beam, but just enough to light them up.

B) im not sure but does the max have two batteries on your belt?? it's rather heavy and the mini pro lasts one hour continuous and roughly the same brightness. it comes with a dimmer switch. don't quote me though. Axe
No its a single battery and will provide 3-3.5 hours lamping on a full charge. The beam is also 4 times more powerful but can be reduced to a candle. Its the perfect all round lamp IMHO.
