Make one. 1M length of 12mm dia mild steel, 6mm ball bearing and a dti on mag base. About £40 for the parts.

Drill a 6.1mm dia hole, say 4mm deep in the side of the bar close to its end. Araldite the ball bearing in. Clamp this bar to a bench or table. Mount the DTI/mag base onto a solid lump of steel/iron with probe touching 6mm ball. Zero DTI and there you go.
