Has anyone had any experience of this - possible repair costs etc? Whereas it's not excessive, it's not usable - spread slightly larger than a rabbit head at 60 measured yards whereas previously it was sub 1". It was taken off the rifle (22LR) and not used for a while and the fault appeared on re-fitting so damage/knocks are not thought to be the problem.

Many thanks.

Just for info in case anyone else has the problem.

Heard from Jacks who say that it is very rare for the sight to be at fault with this problem and 99% of the time it's down to the mounts and I should check the rail to sight joint. I'd done this properly in the first place but never the less, removed it (with difficulty - as usual a tad too much thread lock!) and all appeared to be good so cleaned everything up and refitted it (not so much thread lock). Between the rail and rifle I use two separate mounts of the type that have the detachable side flanges and on refitting these, I noticed that they were binding/catching on the bottom of the rail such that on fully tightening them they could tend to distort the rail. Not being sure of the effect, I trimmed a few thou' of the top of each until they ran freely on the flange bolts and cleared the rail. I then refitted the sight exactly where it had been previously and being confident that the rail/sight joint was again as it should be, on shooting was surprised to see it shooting 6" high and 2" left from the previous albeit rather vague group. Adjusting this down to the 60 yard zero, all is now as it should be.
