tuck1
Yep. Just let her do her own thing. Be aware that hormones are rushing round her body, so she may be moody, aggressive, etc.

Ferretboy111
Luckily i have goats at the farm, so i gave my jill last year: goats milk, egg, biscuits and meat ie:pigeon and rabbit, i managed to look in on my kits as the mother trusts me wholeheartedly, she actually brought them out to see me at one point, had lots of squeeking, ended up with 11 Alex
tuck1
If you are giving her a balanced diet now, and it sounds like you are, carry on. Complete food, maybe a bit of raw carcass here and there, egg, milk, etc. Sounds like you are doing just fine. Try to resist the urge to take a look at them, jills have been known to eat kits if they get disturbed/upset, so just try your best to keep things calm and quiet around her for a while. She may want to come out for a break now and then, that's fine too.

Also, how long before the kitts are up and about? me and my dad have owned ferrets for 20 years between us, he was at one point world ferret racing champion for 3 years on the trot and i then followed the next two years, at one time we had 192 ferrets. as for the diet i think the complete biscuit range is a load of **** and waste of money, i would feed her on raw rabbit or go the butchers and get some pet mince. you also want to get some bone meal and mix with the petmince and this will help in many ways, you'll notice the difference in your ferrets straight away, eyes will be clearer, coats more shiny (good if your into ferret shows). we have never given ours milk or eggs as it's not needed. plenty of water, to much milk can sometimes give an overload of calcium to the jill and kill her or the kits. as for handling the kits, we always have a look the same day and see if all is well, opening the box is fine but we dont touch for a couple of days. about 10 days and they should be moving, once there fully mobile get pet mince and mix with some bone meal, they will progress much quicker and are less likely to have weak bones.
