This was a beauty. Popped out for an hour this afternoon. It walloped me on the drop and then proceeded to run right out into the backing like a steam train. It eventually succumbed. An absolute cracker well overwintered and the length of my arm. Such a fish deserves to be returned. After 5 mins recovery it headed back to depths strong and probably a little wiser.

 

Oh and as an after thought... Here is my first brown of the year also.
