ilovemyheckler
What do I need to do as a seller? I assume that I fill in the 6 columns on my licence and notify my local firearms officer within 72 hours (which I can do by email). Do I need to do anything else? Do I or the purchaser need to fill out anything on the purchasers certificate? Thanks.
dougall
you fill in their licence and sign. Both inform own issuing Police forces of the changes, most have a set form for this .You dont need to write on your own license at all. robbiep
As said. As a seller, you make NO changes to your certificate. The only time you ever write on your certificate should be to sign it. You are responsible for filling in the buyer's certificate. You are EACH responsible for informing your own licencing authority about the sale / purchase. So you tell yours, he tells his. Oh, and it's got to be notified within 7 days, not 72 hours.
